The course has a total duration of 18 months for a total of 60 CFUs of which 25 CFUs are related to lecture courses and didactic laboratory activities, and 25 CFUs are related to the performance of a 6-month internship at one of the affiliated facilities on a topic consistent with the training modules into which the Master’s degree is divided, and 10 CFUs are attributed by the final Master’s degree examination.

Teaching activities (lectures and laboratories) will begin in April 2026 and end by September 2026 at the Department of Biotechnologies, Chemistry and Pharmacy, University of Siena. The internship activity may be carried out in a different period agreed with the company, in the period between September 2026 and January 2027. The hourly commitment related to the 25 CFU of teaching activity is calculated with a ratio of 1 CFU = 25 hours of activity (frontal lecture or laboratory).
